How many sittings are required for dental crowns?
A PFM crown treatment will take two sittings. The first sitting is to prepare the tooth and take an impression. The second sitting is to fit the permanent crown.
What are the post treatment instructions for dental crowns?
Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
Floss at least once a day.
Avoid eating hard and sticky foods, such as chikki, candy and gum and hard and sticky nutribars or nuts.
Avoid using your teeth as a tool to tear open packages or bottles

Visit your dentist every six months for a check-up and cleaning.
Avoid biting or chewing on hard objects, such as ice, pens, and fingernails.
Wear a mouthguard when playing sports or participating in activities that could cause trauma to your mouth.
